Black IPA, black gold, inscrutably black. Rich and creamy, hazelnut, coffee, chocolate, cola, rhubarb, licorice all merged with grapefruit and lime for balance. Need we say more?
Typology: Dark ale, 33cl
Alcohol Content: 5.7% vol.
Temperature for Serving: Cold but not ice cold.
Hops: Amarillo, Ahtanum, Galaxy
Tasting notes: The foam has notes of hazelnut, while the beer itself is nocturnal in color. The nose has notes of toasted bases (coffee, chocolate, carob flour, cola) and is merged with citrus (grapefruit, lime) generating balance. On the palate, it is creamy rather than roasted, flowing fluidly into a final note in which licorice and rhubarb prevail. Innovative and decisive like the whole Grana40 line.
