Pinot Nero has been grown in Friuli for only a very short while, making it still a very rare fine, but this corner of Italy is actually perfect for this grape. In the pre-alpine hills it finds its best habitat , caressed by the fresh winds coming from the mountains, where it fully exploits the typical thermal excursion of the area due to the soil.

Fermentation and refinery: The alcoholic fermentation takes place in truncated conical fermenters of French oak, while the malolactic fermentation takes place in 500 liter Tonneau, also made of French oak, where the wine ages from 18 to 24 months in the Tonneau depending on the year.
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Temperature for serving: 14-16°C, 57-61°F
Tasting notes: Its color is red with garnet notes, the nose is very elegant with notes of small berries such as currants and raspberries. On the palate, it reveals all its elegance and complexity with fruity notes supported by fine tannins that makes it austere but pleasant to taste.
Serving Suggestions: Pairs with a wide range of combinations, from cheese to pasta, fish and white meat.
