Typology: White wine – DOC Collio
Production area: White wine D.O.C.
Grape variety: 70 % Friulano – 15% Malvasia - 15% Ribolla gialla
Soil composition: Marl and sandstone
Harvesting: by hand in 10-kilogram boxes.
Fermentation and refinery: racking and fermentation (with indigenous yeasts) in oak tonneaux of 5 HL; aged in oak barrels of 15 Hl for the first 12 months; the wine is placed in steel tanks where it ages for a further 6 months; after this period of refinement the wine is bottling, and then it ages in the bottle for 6 months before release.
Alcohol Content: 13% vol.

Tasting notes: In the nose sweet, large, spicy with varietal characteristics; with hints of citrus, almond, walnut, exotic fruit, and hints of white peach, sage, and white pepper.In the palate great structure, with good acidity and harmonious fruit and spice; the typical almond aftertaste and exotic fruit is very persistent.
Pairing Suggestions: Wine with a fantastic paring, especially with seafood dishes, prosciutto, and pasta.
