Schioppettino (2019)

Petrussa

  • Schioppettino, locally called "Ribolla Nera," has been around since the 13th century in Friuli. Saved from the brink of extinction, it began its comeback in the 1970s. Petrussa's Schioppettino di Prepotto is a fan favorite of red wine lovers. We're certain this wine will find its way into your cellar again and again.

Grown in the Prepotta area of Friuli (the most famous area for the Ribolla Nera varietal) Petrussa's Schioppettino is an excellent expression of the peppery red varietal.
